Tip 1
Take a piece of polishpaper and stick it on a cardboard.
Use this as underlayment under your fabric when you're going to draw your pattern.
The fabric doesn't glide anymore!
Tip 2
Very little pieces of fabric can be used to make greetingcards.
So, don't threw them away! See also my Christmasgreetings.
Tip 3
You can save your little pieces of fabric in a big glass pot or bottle.
It is nice to look at and you can see at once which fabrics you have in stock!
Tip 4
When you are sewing it might be handy to put a little box near your quilting stuff.
Put the cutted threads and other "garbage" in the box and your environment keeps clean. When you are
finished with sewing you don't need to go round with the vacuum-cleaner.
Tip 5
When you are patching or quilting it is a little nasty when you have to put a new thread
in your needle.
You can already thread several needles before, so you can quickly go further.
Tip 6
When you look through red glasses you can see the colorshade between your fabrics
much better.
Handy if you are working with fabrics with a design.
